Making A Difference In The Global Community
Mariana’s founders remember their earlier years. So despite just coming out of stealth, they are committing resources now to make a difference in global communities small and large.
Changing one person’s life is changing the world.

“Because I Am a Girl”
In over 70 countries, Plan International talks about girls being equal to boys. They spend almost a billion dollars for programs that help children, including the “Because I Am a Girl” initiative. Mariana technology is helping Plan International USA to find families and donors who want to bolster that program to give girls an equal start.
36 million slaves, tens of thousands of which are in the U.S.–the most ever in world history. The “Not For Sale” initiative is attacking human trafficking by building social impact businesses with anti-human trafficking at the cultural core. Mariana is leveraging its deep learning to help “Not for Sale” find more modern-day abolitionists, and later, to find those responsible for this travesty.
United Nations: “He For She”
“Half the Sky” is the way Nick Kristof so famously called women in his call for gender equality. Now the United Nations is talking about the other half of the sky—men. It wants to gather a billion men to say yes to equality. Mariana is teaming with UN Women to leverage its deep learning to gather the resources to make that goal happen.
